President Muhammadu Buhari and former President Olusegun Obasanjo have reportedly held a closed-door meeting in the Abuja House, United Kingdom.

Obasanjo is reported to have been accompanied by former Osun state Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola.

According to the Nigerian Tribune, the retired generals held a 40-minute private meeting in a separate room after courtesies and pleasantries were exchanged in the general area of the house.

The president, who was said to have expressed gratitude for the visit, also told Oyinlola that “Excellency, you are looking really fine” with both Obasanjo and Oyinlola reportedly replying that they were happy to see that he was looking fine, too.

Last week seven governors were in the Abuja House to see the president and wished him well.

The governors were Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), Kashim Shetima (Borno), Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom), Dave Umahi (Ebonyi), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano) and Samuel Ortom (Benue).
