Australian couple, Stuart and Janelle Clarke, who drove from US to Nigeria on motorbikes, departed Lagos for Benin City, Edo State, on Wednesday, in continuation of their world tour on motorbikes.
The Clarkes who arrived Lagos a week ago, took off around 10:30am from their Obanikoro base after breakfast with friends and well-wishers.
While in Lagos, the couple rode to Ogbomosho to see the oldest tortoise at the palace of Soun of Ogbomosho. They also visited the world-renowned African shrine owned by late Afrobeat maestro Fela Anikulapokuti.
Stuart told Concise News that they are headed for Benin city, Edo State. The couple will later visit Calabar before crossing the border to Cameroon.
