Manchester City are out of the 2017 Uefa Champions League after losing 3-1 to high-scoring Monaco.
The English team lost the game on the away goals rule.
The English side were 13 minutes from a place the quarter-finals after clawing themselves back into a second leg their hosts had dominated, butpoor tacking allowed Tiemoue Bakayoko to head home and send City out.
The result leaves Premier League champions Leicester City as the only English team in the last eight.
Monaco join Leicester City, holders Real Madrid, last year’s runners-up Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus in Friday’s draw.
