Chaos in Akure as protesters kick against INEC for accepting Jimoh Ibrahim as Ondo state gubernatorial candidate

Some aggrieved members of PDP in Ondo state who disagree with the new decision of INEC are currently staging a protest in the state capital, Akure, not quite long ago INEC had taken the decision to recognize billionaire businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim, as the PDP candidate in the November 26th governorship election in the state.

Jimoh Ibrahim who belongs to the camp of the Factional PDP leader, Ali Modu Sheriff, was yesterday recognized by the electoral body over Ahmed Makarfi-faction’s candidate, Eyitayo Jegede.

INEC is yet to give reasons for choosing Jimoh over Jegede who until yesterday, was displayed on PDP’s official website as the party’s governorship candidate.

Hmmmm! drama is all I can see here.
